SCORE names Yankee Doodle Deli as Product Client of the Year for 2010.
We were pleased to be recognized by the Cincinnati Chapter of SCORE. Marty Densmore, Mariliyn's SCORE counselor, has been instrumental in helping advance the business since they first met in 2008. Advice on many topics has been helpful, especially in the marketing and financial realms. Receiving this award was wonderful recognition for years of hard work! We highly recommend SCORE services to other entrepreneurs.
ZELS FEATURED ON THE RACHAEL RAY SHOW:
It was thrilling when the Rachael Ray show responded favorably to the samples of Zels that we sent. Our crew was ecstatic as we packaged 170 Tri-Zel Snack Packs for delivery to her New York City studio. It was fun to see Rachael hold up the bag and announce our product and to know everyone in the audience was heading home with a bag!
From this airing, we received great exposure including an article in the Cincinnati Enquirer, several community papers, Covington E-news, a mention on Channel 5, and compliments from radio personalities on several radio stations including WGRR and WYGY. This exposure also resulted in our name being in numerous food trade publications which has led to inquiries for new companies wanting to be our representatives across the country. It has been quite exciting. We may try sending them to Ellen next!

THE Point/Arc of NKY held their annual Volunteer Dinner June 23, 2011 and we were thrilled to be named Employer of the Year for our efforts in hiring special needs people.
